Party wrapup

In retrospect, I suspect that having a household party the weekend after Consonance may have been a little too soon; I clearly had not caught up on my sleep, and the publicity suffered as well. It was definitely one of our smaller parties.

It was, however, a good party -- lots of singing (including a couple of songs from the chaoswolf), lots of good conversation, and fun showing off some of my new toys to fellow geeks. And playing some of the tracks cflute put down for me last weekend (waves to ciarhwyfar).

I finally got to bed somewhere around 1am; should probably have turned off my alarm clock. I really ought to be getting up about now, not an hour and a half ago. (Blinks.) Too late now. Or was that too early?

Where did the weekend go?

It was a day for puttering around. Went out for a walk, but it started raining so I went to Guitar Showcase and Fry's instead (I'd meant to go after the walk). By the time I was done in Fry's the rain had stopped, but I was hungry and came home to have lunch instead. And there I stayed, puttering around. Eventually the flower_cat and chaoswolf came back from their baycon meeting bearing a bag of cracked crab for my (one-day-early) birthday dinner. Yum!

All in all a fairly relaxing day, which I suspect I needed more than I realized. Oh, yes -- the Cat went down to the local appliance store, which was having a sale, and bought a freezer. It gets installed Tuesday.
