A pretty good day, as I recall. Took the shuttle to the airport to pick up a rental car -- a good thing, since other folks I might have gotten rides from were very much too exhausted post-con, and Chaos still can't drive yet. Took her home, then went with Colleen to Snapdoodle Toys and Third Place Books before finally meeting Callie and the kids for dinner at Barlee's.

Not very eventful, not that that's a real problem, and no walkies (which is a real problem.

A long day of travel. Apparently I put in a couple of miles just running stuff out to the car. We got an hour or so of conversation with Callie, bringing her some things I'd forgotten about the day before. It would have been better if I'd picked up the slight hesitation when I asked if it would be ok to stop in, realized that one is unlikely to get an accurate answer to a question like that from someone who's exhausted, told her to go get a nap, and just left the stuff on her porch.

Inconsiderate bear is sorry, and will be better in the future.

We spent the rest of the afternoon completing our circumnavigation of Lake Washington, getting to the airport about 4:30 for our 7pm flight.

Did some online banking and went splat. On the whole it was a good weekend. Exceptionally good in spots. Having Colleen along involved a fair amount of extra expense and effort, but it was well worth it. It's a joy to see her happily taking part in a con again. Especially since it's the first time I got to take her to a con that I'd been to before without her, and introduce her to friends that I knew and she didn't. Kind of weird, actually. But good.
