Next time she does them in the crock pot (which works very well, as a matter of fact) I'll try to remind her that it doesn't lose nearly as much liquid as it does in the oven. Still good.

It's not the size, it's the dazzle effect. It seems to be showing about half of every letter (but not the same halves) in black, the other half as reflection.

Bizarre. Really bizarre. I can't reproduce this at all, not even in IE at 640x480, 256 color. It is a very large image: 1200x1600 JPEG. It might help to download it ("save as") and look at it with an image editor. All the pixels are there...

What's most annoying is that it's almost readable. Every now and then, a character gets through in readable shape, and you keep hoping if you squint hard enough, you can read through the glare-y parts.

It has to be something to do with the way the browser is displaying it. It's a JPEG image, 1200x1600, 24-bit color. If you're using 256 colors it will definitely be unreadable, and may have problems at 16,000 colors. Printing it in monochrome at full size from Firefox gave acceptable results, so did printing it in color on a good inkjet.
