Westercon RFA

It's hard to believe, but Westercon is coming up in only three weeks. Eeek! My concert will be 2:45 on Saturday. My usual partner in crime, cflute, won't be there, so there will be a couple of holes in my usual repertoire unless somebody wants to learn a part or two. Consider this a Request For Assistance. (And also a Request for Suggestions, if there's a song you particularly want to hear. Or not hear.)

I /think/, unfortunately, looking at finances, that I just can't afford it. I wasn't seeing single day rates, so it would be $70 for the con, plus $40-$50 gas to get there and back... and whatever on food, which always ends up more expensive at cons. And.... yeah. I was sort of thinking 'Well, if it's under $100, I could probably manage', but even with staying with a friend, I think I just can't afford it. Sorry.

Gas prices are really going to hurt travel plans this summer. See you at Worldcon, perhaps.
