Here we are at Worldcon

Well, we made it! The drive down, via US101, was just the way I like it: scenic, and totally uneventful. About 7:30 including a break for an early dinner in Buellton.

Slept badly, and may be coming down with a cold. Will have to take good care of what's left of my voice.

I now have my badge (with my schedule printed on the back). The filk lounge is set up. All the filk programming is along one corridor on the 4th floor of the Hilton, so that's easy and convenient. The Hilton, where we're staying, is adjacent to the convention center where most of the rest of the con is happening. Concert Friday at 8pm.

Good luck with the voice. You've got some damn good songs, and their message needs hearing. Wish I was there to help.

Actually, ginger "tea", benedryl, Vick's nasal spray, and dark chocolate (a good cough suppressant, it turns out).
