My gig, with Joyce Uggla assisting on vocals, guitar, and percussion, went very well. Ended up dropping "Someplace in the Net" in order to squeeze in "Guilty Pleasures" at the end -- the fact that Joyce is a folkdancer and the song is in 7/8 had a lot to do with it. A couple of my usual chord flubs, but I don't think anyone in the audience noticed. Got some favorable responses; I think having backup realy helps.

Went to the Pegasus nominees concert; I seem to have two Pegasus nominees in my repertoire, "Close Your Eyes" by Dan Glasser, and "Ship of Stone" by Don Simpson. Fortunately they're in different categories. There will be some tough decisions, as usual.

I've been busy this con -- seven program items (all in the filk track, but still...). Haven't even been to the art show yet. My throat is actually in pretty good shape, thanks to good drugs, tea, ginger tea, and lots of water.

Sounds like a lot of fun. I hope you got some recordings from the concert!

Yay for tunes in 7/8! I just wrote one today. It's for another filker's previously written lyrics, so I won't say more till I find out what the lyricist thinks of the tune.
