You're also not in office. Back when the Republicans were fiscal conservatives and otherwise wanted to stay out of peoples' lives, I could respect them and even occasionally vote for them.

Now that they include people who condone torture, say in public that atheists like me shouldn't be citizens, lie to us in order to start wars that make us less secure, and lie even more to keep us from figuring out how much those wars cost, well, ...

As Mayor Curley of Boston would say.. Vote early, Vote often!" He meant it literally. A good old fashion politician... Unfortunately, I just couldn't see myself voting for Angelides; however, I voted Democratic when it came to Congressional and Senatorial.

Thank god for absentee ballots.
