My filk concert at Baycon
2003-05-24 09:39 amI was up first, Friday night at 9:00pm, so as usuall a number of people missed it. But for all that it was much better attended than my last few concerts, and I got a couple of complements on my singing. My new song, Cicero in the Twenty-First Century got even more laughs than I expected. Could I have hit a nerve there?
I stupidly didn't write down my exact set list before I put the sheets back in the notebook, so this is from memory:
Keep the Dream Alive
The Stuff that Dreams are Made Of
Thrill-Seekers' Waltz
Cicero in the Twenty-First Century
TEOTWAWKI v2.0
The Rambling Silver Rose
The World Inside the Crystal
Desolation Row (Bob Dylan)
The Cap and Bells (Yeats/Savitzky)
Millennium's Dawn
Ship of Stone (Don Simpson)
