The Mandelbear's Jungle Adventure
2003-06-08 02:45 pmIt's probably just as well that I don't remember who landscaped our back yard. Among other things, they put in this monstrosity of a jungle vine -- passionflower, I think -- that produces beautiful, huge orange flowers but has basically taken over.
I spent about two hours trying to disentangle it from the jacaranda tree. I won the fight, eventually, but one of the branches broke, and there are still some bits of vine clinging to branches I can't reach. Grr.
I don't think anyone's worked on the back yard for over a year. I don't have much free time, and hate gardening;
flower_cat has time and likes to garden, but her arthritis keeps her from doing much.
I'm tempted to pave it and paint it green.
