Tracks: order of the day
2007-06-26 10:35 amI need some help on this one. Listening to the latest dump, I found the transition from "Little Computing Machine" to "Silk and Steel" to be rather jarring.
So I'm wondering what to do about it. You'll find the current track list, with pointers to lyrics, here for reference. The following list (in the same order) maps the shorthand filenames into the corresponding titles (you could also find the mapping here, but I'm being lazy):
cicero Cicero in the 21st Century alphabet The Programmer's Alphabet mushroom Mushrooms stuck Stuck Here... barratry High Barratry bugs Bugs demon Demon Lover guilty Guilty Pleasures lcm Little Computing Machine silk Silk and Steel vampire Vampire Megabyte pigeon Paper Pings wannabe I Wanna be a Webmaster daddys Daddy's World teotw TEOTWAWKI v. 2.0 uncle Uncle Ernie's world The World Inside the Crystal net Someplace in the Net
Some considerations: demon and silk are closely related; they could go together (in that order). On the other hand, they have similar arrangements: guitar and the same two voices. One order that might work would be: bugs..vampire..demon..silk..lcm..guilty -- vampire is silly but kind of dark, so it might make a good transition.
Suggestions?
