Went to Fry's today, ostensibly to pick up a copy of the latest version of "Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego" for the kids (I'm still waiting for the parody version, "Where in Hell..."). Along the way I picked up a couple of Janis Ian CDs: The Bottom Line Encore Collection and Hunger. DAMN, she's good.

If you play guitar, go out right now, track down a copy of Hunger, and listen to track 7, "Welcome to Acousticville".

I haven't seen those. A few months ago I replaced some of my fave vinyl including her albums Between the Lines and Aftertone. I'm enjoying getting reacquainted with her work.
