Ouch!

Took my car in yesterday for a minor service and smog check. Turns out it needed a new radiator and thermostat. $960 later...

And today I had my annual chat with the young lady from California Peace Action and threw some money their way, as Congress prepares to rubberstamp the administration's request for the power to wage a preemptive war against Iraq. Gotta get it signed before the elections, you know.

Tis the season to hemmorhage money... I just paid the house insurance and got my latest property tax bill. Ouch. (I've often wondered what my taxes would be like without Prop. 13 "limiting" them to around $4000 a year...)
I know about Peace Action. I threw a good amount of money at them recently, as well. I think we're all fed up with the current administration.
