Total for the con: 5 new pre-orders and 11 bonus disks delivered. You can still pre-order Coffee, Computers, and Song! -- I expect that it will finally go to the duplicators sometime this month. Hopefully in the next two weeks, which would let me throw a release party at ConChord.

... is 16 new preorders plus 19 bonus disks delivered to people who had either already paid or were being comped. That includes a handful of orders taken at work, at our household party, and a couple of Wednesdays.

If you've pre-ordered -- or want to pre-order -- and run into me at Westercon, I'll have disks and envelopes there.

The Bear will now take a bath and fall over. I haven't been sleeping well this week. A con this weekend is not going to help.

The PayPal "buy it now" links are up on the preorder page. I just threw all of this stuff together today, so if it's a little rough around the edges, you'll know why.

Now I can get back to a few little details like actually finishing the CDs so I'll have something to, like, deliver.

Did I mention that I'm feeling a trifle overwhelmed?

My CD isn't done yet, but you can preorder it here!. The PayPal "buy it now" button isn't there yet, so you may want to wait for it; I should have it up in a day or so. Meanwhile there's a form you can print out and mail with a check. Preorders, for Coffee, Computers, and Song! and the bonus disk About Bleeding Time! cost $20; shipment is expected sometime in March 2007.

the artwork for the bonus disk is ready, too! )

Got the last of the charity checks written this morning -- all 25 of them. I took this as an excuse to walk to the nearest post office, about 20 minutes away. I rarely go there; because of the way the streets are laid out, the one twice as far away is a little faster to drive to. And a little more convenient if I want to get on the freeway heading toward work afterwards.

For someone who loves to walk and has lived 30 years in the same house, I don't seem to have done much walking in the neighborhood. Of course, it's not a very pretty place to walk, either, and it isn't always safe. But still...

I haven't gotten everything much done that I wanted to, either. It's an open question whether I'll even have an album preorder form up by midnight. Probably not, though a little progress is being made. Hey, I got the directory up, at least!

For many of my friends, 2006 has been a horrible year; for others it's been wonderful. For all of us, here's hoping that 2007 is better.
