A sprained ankle has left me reluctant to walk much -- if at all -- for about the last month. This is Not Good, especially since a daily walk is all the exercise I ever get. It finally seems to be on the mend; I got in about a 45-minute walk yesterday, and went all day with no ankle brace today. I think at this point I can probably stop the naproxin and try to get back to daily walking. For the moment, though, I'll stay on level surfaces as much as possible. Don't want to twist it again!

Steve, you might want to look in to walking shoes that have ankle support. Or wear ankle support while you are walking. You might want to get an ortho consult just to figure out what is going on with the ankle. Just a suggestion since you will be near the hospital. Keep on walkin..
